Learning anything is very excellent for protecting from overloaded trauma inputs. Learning about trauma means that material can be ‘placed’ easier in your mind and psyche. Learning about other stuff – other professional skills or personal interests equally – reduces the saturation of trauma inputs sitting in your head and heart too.

Whatever you want to learn, do! Pick a new hobby, a new skill, a new sport, a new anything, or develop what you already know.
